Getting Started
This page takes you from a fresh browser tab to a solved flop. It uses the default settings wherever possible; the New solve guide explains every field afterwards.
1. Sign in
Section titled “1. Sign in”Open app.rangeflux.com and click Continue with Google. Sign-in uses your Google account; there is no password to create. Your saved ranges and solutions are tied to this account, so you can pick up on another device by signing in there.
2. Find your way around
Section titled “2. Find your way around”The sidebar on the left has two sections:
- Solver is your own work: Ranges (saved hand ranges), New solve (the solve form), and Solutions (every solve you have submitted and its result).
- Study holds content computed by the service: Library, precomputed solution packs you can browse without spending a solve.
Settings sits at the bottom. It shows the account you are signed in with and lets you switch the theme.
3. Run your first solve
Section titled “3. Run your first solve”- Click New solve.
- Leave Name, Starting pot (35 chips), and Effective stack (1000 chips) as they are.
- Click Pick board, choose three flop cards, and click Done.
- Under Ranges, open Presets ▾ on the OOP range card and pick a range. RangeFlux ships a starter set called 6max 100bb Preflop, so a typical single-raised pot is OOP = a BB call range and IP = a BTN open raise range. Do the same for IP range.
- Leave Bet sizes, Max raises per street, and Solver settings at their defaults.
- Click Submit solve.
Each cloud submission uses one of your monthly cloud solves (5 on Free) (a failed solve is returned, unless it failed because your storage was full). The counter above the button shows how many are left. See Plans and limits.
4. Watch it run
Section titled “4. Watch it run”You land on Solutions. The new row starts as QUEUED, moves to SOLVING with a progress bar and the current exploitability, and ends as DONE. Click the row to open it.
5. Read the result
Section titled “5. Read the result”The viewer opens at the flop root with the Strategy tab selected. Each cell of the 13×13 matrix is a hand class, colored by how often it takes each action. Click a cell to see that hand in the Inspector on the right.
From here:
- Solution viewer explains the tree bar, the tabs, and the Inspector.
- Reading the output explains what the numbers mean.
